The cricket world has gone into meltdown after Vaibhav Sooryavanshi produced one of the most explosive innings ever seen in List A cricket during the India A vs Sri Lanka A Tri-Nation Series 2026 final in Dambulla.

From the very first over, Sooryavanshi looked in unstoppable touch, racing to fifty off just 11 balls. He reached the mark with only boundaries and sixes and kept going until Sri Lanka A finally managed to break through.

His dismissal brought mixed emotions inside the stadium, with some in disbelief at the strike rate of 324.13 he maintained throughout the innings. Even after getting out, his impact had already pushed India A into a commanding position early in the final.
