Sooryavanshi offered a blank cheque?

Meanwhile, a fresh report has emerged claiming that Sooryavanshi might soon get a new bat sponsor after his amazing IPL 2026 season. According to CricBlogger, several major companies, including leading tyre brands, are now competing to sign the RR opener.

Sooryavanshi’s current bat sponsorship deal is believed to be worth around Rs 50 lakh per year, but that contract is now nearing its end. The report claims that his existing sponsor is even open to releasing him early and that the figures being offered to him could go far beyond what Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill currently earn from their respective deals with MRF.

The youngster’s rise has been so rapid that his brand value is now being compared with some of the biggest names in Indian cricket. Industry estimates suggest top Indian players earn between Rs 3 crore and Rs 8 crore annually from endorsements, but Sooryavanshi is now reportedly being offered figures that go far beyond that range.

As per the report, some discussions have touched numbers as high as Rs 12 crore per year for bat sponsorship alone, nearly 24 times more than his previous deal.

“If Rishabh Pant, who is only playing one format, can demand such high annual deals, it is obvious Sooryavanshi has hit the roof with his sensational batting,” the report quoted a source as saying.
