KKR vs DC Match Prediction: Who will win today’s IPL match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Delhi Capitals?
Kolkata Knight Riders host Delhi Capitals at the Eden Gardens in the final league match of the 2026 Indian Premier League, hoping to clinch the final remaining playoff spot with a victory. Which team is more likely to win the KKR vs DC match? Here's our prediction...

Kolkata Knight Riders host Delhi Capitals in the 70th and final league match of the 2026 Indian Premier League at Kolkata's Eden Gardens on Sunday, 24 May. While the Capitals have already been eliminated, the Knight Riders are still in the playoffs race and will be hoping to capture the last remaining spot with a victory at their home ground on Sunday.
Their hopes, however, depend on the Mumbai Indians vs Rajasthan Royals match, the afternoon game of the Sunday double header that currently is underway at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium. The Royals currently are on 14 points and a victory will take them to 16, which will knock both KKR and the Punjab Kings out.
PBKS finished with 15 points at the end of the league stage on Saturday after their commanding victory over Lucknow Super Giants on Saturday. KKR currently are on 13 points, and will finish level with the Kings if they beat DC on Sunday evening, with Net Run Rate then deciding which team enters the playoffs should RR lose to MI.
KKR had thrashed DC by 8 wickets with nearly six overs to spare when the two sides had faced off earlier this season at Delhi's Arun Jaitley Stadium. Kolkata produced a disciplined bowling performance to restrict Delhi to 142/8 and later chased the target down with ease thanks to opener Finn Allen's unbeaten century.

KKR vs DC Winner Prediction: Kolkata Knight Riders
Both Kolkata and Delhi have struggled for consistency throughout the ongoing season, but it's the former who are in better form at the moment and are the favourites heading into the final league game of the season at the Eden Gardens.
The Knight Riders have won six of their last seven games, including a Super Over victory over LSG, while it's three wins and five defeats for the Capitals in their last eight, with Axar Patel's men improving that record by winning their last two games.
Let's also not forget the fact that the upcoming match is taking place at KKR's home turf, where Ajinkya Rahane and Co are on a three-match winning run.
