IPL 2026 Award Winners List: Vaibhav Sooryavanshi sweeps top honours after RCB's title triumph

The IPL 2026 season came to a memorable end with Royal Challengers Bengaluru successfully defending their title and becoming only the third franchise in tournament history to win back-to-back championships. After ending their long wait for a maiden trophy in 2025, RCB followed it up with another dominant campaign, defeating Gujarat Titans in the final in Ahmedabad.

While RCB celebrated team success, the season also belonged to Rajasthan Royals' sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, who emerged as the biggest individual star of the tournament. The 15-year-old swept multiple awards, including the Orange Cap, Most Valuable Player, Emerging Player, Fantasy Player of the Season, Super Striker of the Season, and Super Sixes of the Season, underlining his extraordinary impact with the bat.

Several other players were also recognised for their outstanding performances throughout the campaign. Gujarat Titans opener Sai Sudharsan won the award for most fours in the season, Kagiso Rabada finished as the Purple Cap winner with 29 wickets, while Mohammed Siraj topped the Green Dot Balls chart.

There was also some good news from the awards section for the teams which could not qualify for the play-offs. Manish Pandey of the Kolkata Knight Riders won the award for the best catch of the season for the blinder he took at backward point to dismiss Tim David in Match 57. Punjab Kings, who led the league for the majority of season before crashing out of the top four, were awarded the Fairplay Award.
