GT vs PBKS Playing 11 LIVE Updates: Gujarat Titans will be eyeing revenge when they host the in-form Punjab Kings at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium on Sunday, 3 March. PBKS had beaten GT by three wickets after being set 166 to win in the season-opening fixture for both teams on 31 March in Mullanpur.

Australian all-rounder Cooper Connolly had starred in Punjab's victory on IPL debut with an unbeaten 72 off just 44 balls, and will be hoping for an encore when the two teams lock horns in the evening fixture of the Sunday double-header.

Titans aim to avenge three-wicket loss against Kings

GT and PBKS have had contrasting journeys so far in the 19th IPL season. Shreyas Iyer's Punjab Kings appear to have carried on from where they had left off with their runner-up finish last season, currently leading the 10-team standings with 13 points in eight games.

PBKS were on a seven-match unbeaten run – which included a washout in their away game against Kolkata Knight Riders – and had suffered their first defeat of the season in their last outing in the form of a six-wicket loss against Rajasthan Royals.

GT, meanwhile, had started their season with back-to-back defeats but have shown improvement since then, collecting five wins in their last seven outings to sit at the fifth spot on the table with 10 points in nine outings.

And another victory for the Shubman Gill-led side could take them into the top-four, although they will need to thrash PBKS by a comprehensive margin to leapfrog RR to the fourth spot.
