Vaibhav Sooryavanshi's brother Ashirvad continues to make heads turn with another explosive century

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has been on a record-breaking spree recently, from his sensational debut in the Indian Premier League last year and winning the Orange Cap in the recently-concluded season to rewriting records during India A's tour of Sri Lanka earlier this month.

And now it seems as if breaking records runs in the blood, with Vaibhav's brother Ashirvad appearing to score centuries for fun. The 10-year-old grabbed headlines after smashing 168 off just 119 deliveries during a local game, collecting 19 fours and six sixes during his stay at the crease.

Not only did Ashirvad's knock become a major talking point on social media, it also drew praise from his celebrated brother, who has established himself as a primary member of the Rajasthan Royals batting lineup at just 15 years of age and could be making his senior debut for the Indian team later this summer.

Vaibhav shared an image of his brother in full cricketing gear, presumably after his latest knock, in a 'Story' on his Instagram account along with a screenshot of the match scorecard, applauding his brother for his incredible knock.

Scoring centuries for fun

It's not the first time young Ashirvad has made headlines for his batting exploits. Earlier this month, he had struck 103 off just 87 balls while representing Cricket Academy Tajpur in Bihar's Samastipur district, collecting 20 fours and one six during his knock.

As was the case with his latest knock, Vaibhav had also congratulated his younger brother for his century on social media back then.

Vaibhav is the middle sibling among three brothers, with Ujjwal being the eldest. And the manner in which Ashirvad is making waves even before entering his teens, it appears the Sooryavanshi family could have two cricket stars in the near future.

Vaibhav, meanwhile, is currently in Ireland with the Shreyas Iyer-led Indian senior team, having travelled to the United Kingdom with his parents after being granted special permission by the Board of Control for Cricket in India.
