"Whatever we could say about Vaibhav, we have said. He's a very special player. It was looking like a bit of a hamstring issue, but right now, he is looking fine. They've treated him, so we'll know in a day or so if it's anything serious, but it's not looking like that for now," Vikram Rathour said.

It was a record-breaking day for Vaibhav!

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi had lit up the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur while batting in the first innings for RR. The wonderkid showed why he is the flag-bearer of the next generation of cricket with his immaculate hundred off 36 deliveries.

Vaibhav struck 103 runs at a strike rate of 278.38, hitting five boundaries and 12 sixes. He struck the third-fastest IPL hundred last night against SRH, establishing his dominance in the competition.

Sooryavanshi also struck the joint-fastest IPL fifty in the 2026 season in just 15 balls and also became the youngest to complete 1000 T20 runs at the age of 15.

Despite Vaibhav's titanic effort, Sunrisers Hyderabad secured a sound five-wicket victory, courtesy of Abhishek Sharma's rapid 57 off 29, and Ishan Kishan's 31-ball 74. They chased down the target with nine balls remaining.
