Watch: Prithvi Shaw bats in nets at National Cricket Academy following injury lay-off
Prithvi Shaw shared a story on his Instagram handle on Thursday, with the caption: "What a feeling after three months". Shaw could be seen practicing a few shots in the story he uploaded on Instagram.

Young Indian batter Prithvi Shaw was recently seen taking part in batting practice in the nets at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru. In September, Shaw had sustained a knee injury that has kept him out of some marquee domestic tournaments like the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy as well as the Vijay Hazare Trophy.
Shaw shared a story on his Instagram handle on Thursday, with the caption: "What a feeling after three months". Shaw could be seen practicing a few shots in the story he uploaded on Instagram. A video of Shaw's batting practice also went viral on Twitter. The 24-year-old could be seen looking to find the middle of the bat, while also making some good use of his footwork.
Shaw's last competitive game was for Northamptonshire in a One Day Cup game against Durham in August this year. The right-handed batter scored an unbeaten 125 to guide his team to a six-wicket win.
Shaw was recently retained by Delhi Capitals (DC) for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season, despite having scored just 106 runs from eight matches in IPL 2023.
