The incident happened in Headingley, Leeds, when Shreyanka was on fielding duty for Team India. The off-spin bowler twisted her ankle during an attempt to stop the ball in the final over of the powerplay. The 23-year-old had to be stretchered out of the field.
Prema Rawat named as Shreyanka's replacement
According to Cricbuzz, uncapped Indian leg-spinner Prema Rawat has been approved as Shreyanka's replacement in the Indian Women's Team for the rest of the tournament.
The BCCI is yet to make an official statement regarding Shreyanka's status.
24-year-old Rawat has featured in action for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the WPL. In six appearances over the last two seasons, the leg-spinner has picked three wickets.

Rawat's capabilities have helped her earn a maiden national call-up, but it remains to be seen whether the team management brings her straight into the playing 11 or opts for Radha Yadav.
India Women remain undefeated in T20 WC group stage
Despite Shreyanka's freak injury, Team India managed to remain in their winning ways against the Dutch Women in the group-stage match, securing a 95-run victory. The opening duo of Smriti Mandhana and Shafali Verma forged a clinical 115-run partnership, helping India reach 209/5.
During the chase, Shree Charani delivered a 4/19 spell in four overs, while Shafali picked up three wickets to help India remain undefeated.
Team India defeated arch-rivals Pakistan by 64 runs in their W-T20 WC tournament-opening fixture.
