Ayush Badoni and Mohsin Khan have been named in LSG’s Playing 11. It was also confirmed that Aiden Markram has left the team and headed home due to personal reasons. Mohsin replaces Shami, who is rested, and Badoni replaces Markram.

RR has three changes, with Lhuan Dre Pretorious, Sandep Sharma and Sushant Mishra being named in the Playing XI. Ravindra Jadeja and Ravi Bishnoi are still not a part of the playing unit. The all-rounder is nursing a niggle.

It’s hot, it looks sunny, and temperatures have soared past 40° Celsius in the day.  It’s also breezy and very warm in the state capital. Temperatures are as high as 42, while the lowest are expected to be around 31° Celsius.

With Aiden Markram and Matthew Breetzke back in South Africa, the former leaving on the eve of the match against RR in Jaipur, LSG might end up including just three overseas options in their XII – Australian openers Mitchell Marsh and Josh Inglis and West Indian batter Nicholas Pooran.

The Rishabh Pant-led side could include another South African, left-arm spinner George Linde, in the mix. However, with Shahbaz Ahmed performing well in the capacity of an all-rounder, such a move is unlikely to happen.

Jadeja had played all 11 matches this season until RR’s away clash against Delhi Capitals, which they lost by five wickets. The Royals team management is still monitoring an elbow and knee issue that had forced him to sit out of the match in Delhi, meaning the senior spin-bowling all-rounder could miss a second game on the trot.

The match on Tuesday will take place on pitch number five, the same as the RR vs SRH clash. The Royals were defeated in that game with nine balls to spare. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi had struck a 37-ball 103 in that match.

Expect dew to play a key factor in the game, just the way it did in the second innings of the RR-SRH match.

Ravindra Jadeja remains doubtful for action due to a niggle, while skipper Riyan Parag is also dealing with a hamstring issue. Whether they would be in action for the match tonight in Jaipur is yet to be seen.

In a significant development, Aiden Markram has left the Lucknow Super Giants’ camp ahead of their match against RR in Jaipur. The SA cricketer headed home due to personal reasons. Matthew Breetzke has left the camp as well.

Ravindra Jadeja missed out on the previous match against the Delhi Capitals due to a niggle in his knee. With a must-win game approaching, the team management may look to bring back the veteran all-roounder.
