Pakistan cricket journalist, banned by Mohsin Naqvi over criticism, says brother kidnapped from Lahore: 'Request PAK PM...'

Pakistani cricket journalist Sanaullah Khan has said that his brother has been kidnapped from Lahore and requested the authorities in Pakistan to take quick action into the matter. Sanaullah, a popular face on Pakistani social media who has been in the news for heavily criticising Pakistan Cricket Board chief Mohsin Naqvi, has said that his brother, Amanullah Khan, was picked up by unknown men when he was going to pick up children from school.

Sanaullah, who is known for his sharp views on the administration of Pakistan cricket, has urged Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief Minister of Pakistan's Punjab Maryam Nawaz to intervene in the matter so that his brother could be found.

Sanaullah posted a video on social media and gave details of the incident. He also said that even after registering a complaint, not much has done by the police.

"In this video, I will be making a request to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. Six hours before this video, my brother has been kidnapped from the Park View Society in Lahore at around 1 PM. We have registered a police complaint. I am, by chance, in Australia and why am I in Australia? There are some problems that I do not want to discuss in this video," he said.

Sanaullah has heavily criticised PCB's administration in recent times and claims that he has been banned by Naqvi because of his sharp questions.

He also dropped a hint in his latest video that he could be living in Australia because of potential safety concerns in Pakistan due to being at odds with Naqvi who is also the home minister of the country.

"Six hours have passed but nothing major has been traced so far. I would also request IG of Punjab Police to take quick action so that my brother can be recovered," he said in the video.

There has been no official response from either the police or the PCB on the matter.
