Both India vs Ireland T20s will be played at the Civil Service Cricket Club in Belfast. And reportedly, the timings were changed by Cricket Ireland as the Sunday match clashed with the India women vs Australia women game in the T20 World Cup.

“The timings were brought one hour earlier because nobody wants the two games to clash directly,” a source told Hindustan Times Digital.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi in focus as India visit Ireland

The India vs Ireland T20 series marks the return of the Men In Blue to the format after winning the 2026 T20 World Cup 2026 at home. But captain Suryakumar Yadav has been dropped, and Shreyas Iyer is the new skipper.

But the biggest headline-making news so far has been the inclusion of 15-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi. The teenager had a highly successful IPL 2026, winning the Orange Cap with close to 800 runs. The fans are now hoping for him to make his India debut in Ireland.

Will that happen? It's difficult to say at the moment, given the presence of top players like Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan and Sanju Samson in the squad, but his blistering form demands a quick opportunity.

In case Sooryavanshi doesn't get a debut in Ireland, he could get a chance in England. After the Ireland T20s, India play a five-match series against England and the teenager is also part of that squad.

India T20 squad: Shreyas Iyer (captain), Tilak Varma (vice-captain), Ravi Bishnoi, Abhishek Sharma, Suryansh Shedge, Prasidh Krishna, Sanju Samson, Axar Patel, Harshit Rana, Ishan Kishan, Washington Sundar, Arshdeep Singh, Shivam Dube, Prince Yadav, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi.
