Team India fielding coach T Dilip is reportedly unlikely to receive another extension to be part of the Men in Blue's coaching staff. The fielding coach was part of the national team after India's white-ball tour of England, and he is unlikely to be part of any other tours.

The BCCI offered two-year contracts to head coach Gautam Gambhir's support staff following his appointment. The coaching unit includes assistant coach Ryan ten Doeschate, bowling coach Morne Morkel, Sitanshu Kotak, T Dilip, and Sairaj Bahutule.

It was previously reported that a prominent member of Team India's coaching staff would part ways with the team, and according to India Today, bowling coach Dilip is unlikely to receive an extension.

The report added that at least one departing member of the coaching staff is expected to transition into a role with an IPL franchise ahead of the 2027 season, with discussions already underway between both parties.
