Trouble continues to pile on the Delhi Capitals after being rocked by a major injury scare during a team training session. A young cricketer had to be stretchered off the field and into an ambulance after a ball hit him on his face.

The Delhi Capitals’ struggles are evident, with inconsistency hampering their strategy and performance in crucial matches. They are currently sixth in the points table after three losses and two wins in the past five matches.

Ahead of a key encounter, panic unfolded at the Arun Jaitley Stadium during a team training session. 

Sahil Parakh struck on face, stretchered off the field

Delhi Capitals cricketer Sahil Parakh suffered a facial injury during the team's practice session. The 18-year-old was struck in the face with a ball while batting in the nets.

A viral video from the Arun Jaitley Stadium showed Sahil Parakh being stretchered off inside an ambulance, highlighting the intensity of his injury with visible blood and causing some panic and distress.

Medical staff and emergency responders rushed onto the field to check up on Parakh and provide initial first aid before being rushed to a local medical facility in an ambulance. The Delhi Capitals are yet to provide an injury update on the young cricketer.
