Abhishek Sharma produced a stunning batting display to smash his second IPL century, leading Sunrisers Hyderabad’s charge against Delhi Capitals in their IPL 2026 clash in Hyderabad.

The young opener came out with clear intent and never allowed the DC bowlers to settle. He raced to his half-century in just 25 balls, setting the tone for what turned out to be a dominant innings. From there, Abhishek shifted gears even further, attacking both pace and spin with ease as boundaries flowed freely.

He reached his century in just 47 balls, bringing it up in style with a six and a four in an over bowled by Nitish Rana. The left-hander celebrated the milestone with his signature 'love' symbol, dedicating it to SRH fans. With this ton, he equalled the record of Virat Kohli of 9 T20 centuries.

Abhishek’s innings, however, had a moment of luck. He was dropped on 86 when Rana put down a chance off T Natarajan’s delivery. That miss proved costly as the SRH opener made DC pay heavily.

Travis Head also provided solid support with a quick 37, while captain Ishan Kishan kept the momentum going with a brisk unbeaten cameo. The trio ensured SRH maintained a high scoring rate throughout the innings.
