The event will feature opening remarks from French President Emmanuel Macron, IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi, and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.

World leaders, including China's Vice Premier Zhang Guoqing are expected to deliver statements on national energy strategies. SC hear appeal by major NGOs seeking to halt Danish arms exports to Israel

The Danish Supreme Court is scheduled to hear an appeal in March 2026 regarding a lawsuit brought by four major NGOs seeking to halt Danish arms exports to Israel. The legal challenge centers on whether Danish-made components, particularly for F-35 fighter jets, are being used by Israel to commit serious violations of international humanitarian law in Gaza.

Following a dismissal by the High Court in 2025, the NGOs, namely Amnesty International Denmark, Oxfam Denmark, ActionAid Denmark, and Al-Haq, appealed to the Supreme Court.

The Eastern High Court originally dismissed the case on April 11, 2025. The court ruled that the NGOs lacked legal standing (retlig interesse), meaning they were not "directly, individually, and considerably affected" enough by the government's export decisions to bring the suit.

Nitish Kumar scheduled to kick off the 3rd leg of 'Samriddhi Yatra'
