Karan Anshuman’s directorial Netflix’s Glory shows the politics that goes behind this sport and the games people play to reach the Olympics. The series shows a father’s ambition and how far he can go to bring ‘glory’ for the family and the country. Glory will make you think how ambition can be toxic when it transforms from a healthy motivator into a relentless, insatiable need for more, leading to burnout, ethical compromises, and a diminished quality of life.
Netflix’s Glory ending
The big reveal of Netflix’s ‘Glory’ is that Dev (Divyenndu) discovers that his father, Raghubir (Suvinder Vicky), was the one who ordered the murder of his own daughter, Gudiya. Raghubir's motive was to protect his star athlete, Nihal, from being ‘distracted’ by Gudiya’s pregnancy, only to later kill her in the hospital to ensure she wouldn’t expose his secrets. But is that all or there is something more to it. The show ends on a cliff hanger, making it clear that Season 2 is coming soon.

Dev points a gun at his father as the police arrive to arrest Raghubir. A gunshot is heard before the screen fades to black, leaving it for the audience to wait for the next season as to who is shot, whether it was Ravi or Raghubir.

Raghubir Singh (Suvinder Vicky), a formidable boxing coach driven by an obsession with Olympic glory, struggles to hold together a legacy that is slowly unraveling under the weight of strained relationships. His sons Dev (Divyenndu) and Ravi (Pulkit Samrat) return to Shaktigarh to uncover the truth behind the brutal assault on their sister Gudiya (Jannat Zubair) and the mysterious death of a rising Olympic boxing star — Nihal Singh.
Beyond the family, Glory opens into a world where every character has a stake. Sikandar Kher’s Kookie Gulati looms over Shaktigarh, while Ashutosh Rana’s Viju Sanghwan drives the boxing rivalry. Sayani Gupta’s Joyna digs into Nihal’s death, uncovering deeper links, as Kashmira Pardeshi’s Bharti stands at the centre - sharp and unpredictable.
