Actor and politician Thalapathy Vijay showed massive dominance in the recent Tamil Nadu elections, with his political party Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagame sweeping off 108 seats. His swansong Jana Nayagan continues to await its release amid the election results.

Is Trisha Krishnan joining TVK too?

According to News24, leaders within Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam are keen for her to join the party and possibly contest a by-election from the Tiruchirappalli East constituency. No confirmation about the same has been made yet.

Vijay had contested from two seats — Perambur in Chennai and Tiruchirappalli East — and won both.
