Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau made their relationship public when they were photographed holding hands in Paris while heading to the Crazy Horse cabaret to celebrate Perry’s 41st birthday in October 2025.

The footage was widely shared on social media and follow earlier sightings that trace back to July, when photographs of the two dining at Le Violon in Montreal were first published. Follow-up spottings pointed to additional private outings as one set of pictures from September allegedly showed the pair on a yacht off Santa Barbara.

Is the PDA getting too much?

"It's great that she's in love but it's hard to understand why she needs to put it out there so much," an insider tells the National Enquirer. "Nobody is saying she should hide her happiness, but there's a growing feeling that she's laying it on a little thick."

"Now she's gone and done this little stunt at her concert that's clearly aimed at getting Orlando's attention," says the insider. "It's all a little pathetic, especially considering she's supposedly moved on and is so happy."

As the Enquirer previously reported, a source says Bloom, 49, has been very careful to be respectful to Perry, with whom he shares 5-year-old daughter Daisy.

"When you compare her conduct to Orlando's, it's hard not to notice the glaring difference," says the insider. "He's handled this whole situation with a huge amount of dignity and maturity and you can't say the same about Katy."

Adds the insider: "She's making out with Justin in public every chance she gets to the point where people around them are uncomfortable and whispering that they should get a room."

Perry's romantic life has steadily generated intense media attention. She was married to Russell Brand from 2010 to 2012, had public relationships with John Mayer and Diplo, and was engaged to Orlando Bloom from 2019 until their reported split in June 2025. Perry and Bloom share a daughter.

Justin Trudeau attended the United States’ World Cup opener against Paraguay on Friday at Inglewood, California, rather than his own nation’s game vs. Bosnia-Herzegovina in Toronto.

Trudeau said he made the decision because his girlfriend, Katy Perry, performed in the pregame show before the match at SoFi Stadium.

“Sometimes supportive boyfriend duties call. But you know who I’m rooting for to take the Cup,” he wrote on X on Saturday.
