Kangana Ranaut and Vir Das came together for the 2014 crime and comedy drama Revolver Rani. A kissing scene from the film had made a lot of noise back when the film had released. And a journalist by the name of Simi Chandoke has spilled the beans about the shooting of that scene.

In an interview with Siddharth Kanan, the journalist revealed, "Get Vir Das on your podcast. He might even break down thinking about that traumatic time he went through. While she was shooting Revolver Rani, there was a scene that required her to kiss him passionately. She got carried away and forgot to stop. Even after the scene had ended, she kept going. She bit his lip so badly that it was bleeding."

Vir Das reacts

The actor tweeted- "Right. Just so we are clear. This story is pure fiction. Kangana was a complete professional and I still maintain, a truly gifted artist. This is unfair slander to her. She went on to call me a terrorist a few years later for my comedy 😊 but on set…no problems at all."

Kangana Ranaut tweets too

The actress and politician wrote- "Thanks Vir but who is she ? Ewww seems like some weirdo using us to satisfy her demonic sex fantasies, I am eating your blood and you are traumatised and crying even today after a decade."

In its review of the film, Firstpost wrote- "As was the case with many other recent Hindi films Revolver Rani instead of parodying the 80’s, becomes an 80’s film. Sadly Ranaut is just a tanned mélange of her characters in Queen and Wo Lamhe, and Vir Das spends the entire film sitting around clueless. After the first hour you’re left wondering why the comedic shooting and killing has stopped to make way for a domestic drama."
