'Dharman' First Look: Superstar Rajinikanth reunites with Kamal Haasan, all set to play a 'Deadly Doctor' in the pan-India spectacle

Tamil superstar Rajinikanth's much-awaited film with actor-producer Kamal Haasan's production banner has been titled "Dharman", the makers announced on Wednesday.

The film's first-look poster was unveiled during a pooja ceremony held in Chennai. Backed by Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International, the film will be directed by filmmaker Ashwath Marimuthu of "Oh My Kadavule" and "Dragon" fame, confirming reports that he has replaced "Don" director Cibi Chakaravarthi on the project.

The first-look poster features Rajinikanth dressed as a surgeon holding a holding blood-stained scalpel. The tagline on the poster read "The Deadly Doctor".

The film also stars Simran, Raashi Khanna and Yogi Babu in pivotal roles. Music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, while Niketh Bommi serves as cinematographer and Pradeep E Ragav as editor.

Born on December 12, 1950, in the state of Karnataka, Rajinikanth’s journey to stardom is quite inspiring, and influential, and his magnetic presence remains unmatched in the world of cinema, especially in the South Indian film industry.

In a career spanning five decades, Rajinikanth who started working at the age of 25, predominantly worked in the Tamil film industry, however, later also worked in other language films. Undoubtedly, he is recognised for his contribution to Indian cinema and for giving some exceptional performances in movies.
