Tesla plans to expand its service, delivery, and charging infrastructure across major Indian cities

After the recent launch of the Model Y-L in India, Tesla is now in the pursuit to expand its service, body shop and charging network in India, as it looks to grow its grasp in the nation. The brand has been planning to add new facilities in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai and Ahmedabad.

Tesla currently operates in three experience centres in Mumbai, Delhi, Gurgaon. Since the brand relies on solving issues remotely through software-led diagnostics, you would often not need to reach the Tesla service centre to fix your car. The expansion is being conducted to support a broader customer base as deliveries scale up across more states.

Tesla’s customer-centric approach

Tesla plans to expand ahead with the support of its customer-first support. The brand seeks to follow a direct-to-consumer approach without setting up a conventional dealership network that would have taken years to spread. Customers will be able to order vehicles online, from anywhere acorss the nation while the deliveries will be handled by the company. These deliveries began in India in September 2025, and as per reports the brand has been able to spread its deliveries across 21 states.

Tesla to expand charging network across cities and highways

Tesla is planning to set up five supercharger stations in India. Tesla installed the first one at a site in Navi Mumbai inside a shopping mall. Tesla plans to focus on connecting major cities such as Delhi, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai through superchargers and charging corridors. Beyond that Tesla has also stated that it will be focusing on installing home chargers as well.
