Tata Motors has launched the 2026 Tiago and Tiago EV with refreshed design, upgraded features, and unchanged powertrains

Tata Motors has launched the 2026 update to the Tata Tiago lineup, starting from ₹4.69 lakh for the ICE version and going up to ₹6.99 lakh for the EV version. The last major update for the lineup was carried out in 2020, and the moniker has been on sale for a better part of a decade.
The new Tiago and Tiago EV have received comprehensive updates to both the exterior and interior. Compared to the outgoing model, the 2026 Tiago features a reworked bumper with sharper headlamps and an all-new grille. The fascia now carries a much more upright stance, along with a ground clearance of 170 mm.
Moving to the sides, the car gets 15-inch alloy wheel designs and black cladding on the wheel arches. The rear end has seen substantial revisions with a new connected tail lamp setup, a subtler roof spoiler, and a redesigned bumper.
Inside, the instrument binnacle has been removed, and the steering wheel has been updated to a two-spoke design. AMT variants now get a rotary dial in the centre console for selecting drive modes.
On the feature front, the 2026 Tiago is built on an upgraded E&E architecture and packs features such as a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen, a digital driver’s display, dual wireless charging pads, rear AC vents, and a four-speaker sound system. It also includes a cooled glovebox, cruise control, connected car technology, airbags, ESC, parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, ISOFIX child seat anchors, ABS with EBD, and more.
2026 Tiago Powertrains
The Tata Tiago retains the powertrains from the outgoing model. As standard, the hatchback offers a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 86 hp, with a CNG variant delivering 75.5 hp.
Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT for both versions. The Tiago now also gets paddle shifters.
The all-electric version (Tiago EV) has received similar updates and will now be available in the price range of ₹6.99 lakh to ₹9.99 lakh.
