The headlamps are new, slightly larger units with the latest version of Mercedes Digital Light ambient lighting and three-pointed star DRLs with rose gold highlights. As apparent on the Maybach GLS and SL, a pattern of these logos forms the mesh covering the lower air dams in the bumpers.

The Maybach is 180 mm longer than the wheelbase of the S-Class. The forged 20- and 21-inch-sized alloy wheels further help the special-spec vehicle stand out. These also house a Mercedes logo that stays upright when the car is in motion. The D-pillar logo is illuminated as well, and the tail lamps also get the three-pointed star LED signature, like the standard S-Class.
