BMW to recall more than 1.93 lakh vehicles in China
The recall has been issued to fix defective airbags which pose safety risks to the vehicle occupants
BMW will be recalling over 1.93 lakh vehicles in China owing to defective airbags. An official statement in this regard was issued by China's quality watchdog in Beijing. The list of affected vehicles also include around 1,68,861 cars which were manufactured between December 9, 2005 and December 23, 2011. Also, another 24,750 sedans manufactured between July 12, 2005 and December 31,2011 are being recalled.
The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine has said that the recalls will be initiated from August 1,...
