Russia's Tupolev Tu-95 nuclear-capable strategic bombers fly over the Sea of Japan. This comes just after a Chinese warship conducted a live-fire drill while it was sailing with Russian vessels. The Chinese ship fired live ammunition close to the island of Okinotori. It's Japan's southern-most island, and it helps expand Tokyo's exclusive economic zone. But Beijing says that Okinotori isn't a real island, so it doesn't have an EEZ. With Moscow joining Beijing for military drills, Tokyo is warning its allies that the Russia-China military coordination is expanding. Hem Saroya tells you more.
