Neat design language: The first thing that stands out about the Noise MagSafe Qi Power bank is how solid it feels. Despite its small footprint, it doesn’t give off the fragile, plasticky vibes that many budget power banks do. It’s compact, pocketable, and has a surprisingly premium feel.

It also scores bonus points for the small but mighty built-in stand. Unlike most flimsy fold-out mechanisms that wobble under the slightest touch, this one stay firm and steady. Whether you’re video calling, binge-watching, or simply checking notifications while charging, the stand makes it genuinely practical for on-the-go use.

Design-wise, Noise has kept things simple and functional. There’s a Type-C charging port at the base, a battery indicator on one edge, and a power button on the other. It is easy and simple to use.

The compactness means it slides easily into your handbag, or laptop sleeve without becoming a burden.

Usage: Speaking of easy to use, the Noise MagSafe Qi powerbank nails it. You just dock your phone onto the magnetic ring, and voilà, the charging begins instantly. The magnetic alignment is strong and reassuringly firm, even with a case on. There’s none of that awkward “did it connect properly?” dance as the other MagSafe accessories make you do.

Charging: What makes this charger even more interesting is its Qi2 certification. For the uninitiated, Qi2 is the latest evolution of the Qi wireless charging standard. With a 100W fast charger, it managed to charge only 50 per cent in an hour. That’s a bit sluggish, especially when most of us expect power banks to juice up overnight or within a couple of hours. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it does mean you’ll need to plan ahead.

Once it’s plugged in, the unit does get slightly warm, as does the phone when docked, but not alarmingly so. It’s more of a gentle warmth than a “this might melt my table” situation. Still, it’s worth noting if you tend to charge your devices overnight or keep them stacked for long periods.

That aside, there isn’t much to fault here. The wireless charging speed is slower than wired charging, yes – but that’s true for every MagSafe-compatible power bank. In fact, the slower pace arguably helps preserve your phone’s battery health over time.

Verdict

After spending a few days with the Noise MagSafe Qi Powerbank, I can confidently say it’s one of those products that punches well above its price tag. It’s compact, good-looking, and incredibly easy to use. The stand is a surprisingly thoughtful addition that makes it practical beyond just charging.

Sure, it’s not the fastest at recharging itself, but once it’s ready, it can keep your devices alive for days. And for Rs 2,499, that’s more than you can say for many of its bulkier, less convenient competitors.
