Priced at Rs 4,799 on Amazon (down from its original Rs 6,977), it offers solid value for anyone who spends long hours gaming, working, or streaming.

What I liked

The first thing that stands out about the Cloud Jet Wireless is its weight, or rather, the lack of it. At just 298g, this headset feels surprisingly light and barely noticeable during long sessions.

That, combined with a cloth headband that adjusts automatically to your head size, makes it one of the most comfortable wireless options in its price range. So, with the Cloud Jet headphones, you do not have to adjust the sides, it will do it for you.

You can wear it for hours without any tightness or heat buildup, which is a big plus for marathon gaming or work calls.

The circumaural closed-back design fits snugly over your ears, helping to block out background noise naturally. It’s not active noise cancellation, but it does enough to keep distractions at bay.

The Cloud Jet headphones also comes with a detachable mic, which is attached to the left earcuff. While I would prefer detachable, it uses a convenient flip-to-mute design. You just have to push it up to mute and pull it down when you’re ready to talk.

The mic arm is flexible, so you can easily adjust it to the right position.

Connectivity is another strong point. Using the included 2.4GHz USB Type-A wireless dongle, the Cloud Jet Wireless connects instantly and maintains a stable link without noticeable lag. Whether you’re gaming, watching movies, or jumping between calls, the connection stays strong and consistent.

It is noteworthy that it does not support Xbox connectivity, but with PlayStation is works as smooth as butter.

But out of all, I am most impressed by the battery life. It really puts me off when charging your headsets becomes everyday routine. However, this was not the problem with the HyperX Cloud Jet dual wireless.

The company officially claims that its headset can go up to 25 hours of playtime in a single charge, and I actually managed to record 20 hours without plugging it again. I have been reviewing the product for 2 weeks now, and I only charged it once.

Audio quality is crisp and balanced. Voices come through clearly, and there’s enough separation in sound to make in-game details easy to catch. The microphone deserves special mention, it delivers clear, distortion-free audio whether you’re chatting with teammates or on a video call. People on the other end consistently heard me loud and clear, even with background noise around.

Even though the headset itself is lightweight, the overall look make it a bit bulky to carry around. It’s not huge, but you’ll definitely notice the space it takes up in your bag. If you move around a lot or travel frequently, this might be mildly inconvenient.

The other area where the Cloud Jet Wireless falls a bit short is sound output. While clarity is excellent, the maximum volume feels slightly low. During intense gaming moments or when listening to bass-heavy music, you might wish for a bit more oomph.

The sound profile leans towards balance rather than bass, which works well for clarity but might not please users looking for deeper, more powerful audio.

Lastly, the headset doesn’t come with any companion software or EQ customization options. A little tuning flexibility would’ve been nice to tailor the sound to personal preferences.
