Was Trump wearing an ‘adult diaper’ in his latest interview?

The recent 60 Minutes interview of US President Donald Trump following White House Correspondents' shooting made headlines for several reasons. But, something else quickly caught viewers' attention- no, it was not how he answered or reacted, but the posture of his back, which appeared to have a big bulge.

Now, that big bump photo of Trump is circulating widely, with many speculating that the POTUS was wearing "an adult diaper." Soon after, the focus shifted from what Trump was saying to the noticeable bulge beneath his suit pants.

The internet is now turning a standard interview into a full-blown online sensation.

Are the diaper rumours correct?

Conversations about Trump’s physical condition are not new, but whether the President was actually wearing an adult diaper during the interview is not confirmed yet. However, the picture has added to the rumour that refuses to die, namely that Trump may be unwell.

Despite all the past claims surrounding Trump's health condition, the White House has maintained that the POTUS is in excellent health.

Aside from his diagnosis of chronic venous insufficiency (CVI), a condition common for people at his age that can occasionally cause bruising, there are still no reports of any unusual decline in Trump’s health.

So, what is the internet going crazy about?

The online world did its favourite job: "Zoom and assume." Social media users zoomed in on Trump's seated portion of the segment, pointed to a protrusion under POTUS's suit jacket, turning the moment into content.

Singer Bill Madden shared the bumpy photo of Trump, writing, "Trump, sitting during his 60 Minutes interview, shows not only how morbidly obese he has become, but that he wears a very thick adult diaper."

The commentary ranged from sarcastic remarks to some crude comments.

Another commenter reacted to the singer's post quickly gained traction: “He could probably use a bigger diaper, but I don’t know if they make one that would fit his fat ass."

A single image turned into a viral pile-on.

Another chimed in, "I'm surprised Trump hasn't done a deal with diaper makers."

Another leaned in asking, "Which photo of Trump should the next president hang on Trump's Wall of Fame? Is one of them sleeping? Or one of him in a diaper?"

The comments kept coming in as everyone else jumped in to top the last joke.

"Dang, the diaper has its own zip code. It could probably stop a bullet," a user wrote as quoted by Express

Trump’s health rumours saga

This latest round of chatter did not come out of the blue. It's a pattern people keep noticing regarding Trump’s physical condition.

On Easter Sunday 2026, video footage showed Trump being helped by First Lady Melania as he descended the White House steps. The clip quickly went viral, sparking debate over whether it held any real significance or was simply a normal moment taken out of context.

During the 2026 Davos, a large purple bruise was visible on Trump’s left hand as he addressed the “Board of Peace” at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland.

While speaking to CNN aboard Air Force One, then, Trump addressed bruising on his hand. “I clipped it on the table,” he said. “I put a little — what do they call it? — cream on it. But I clipped it,” he furthered.

Hand bruising, swelling in his legs, and moments of dozing off at public events have been a subject of intense speculation.

Earlier, on December 2, 2025, Trump appeared to slump with drooping eyelids during a cabinet meeting. He later rejected that interpretation, saying it was a result of how the media framed his blinking.

Last year in February, Trump’s large bruise on the back of his right hand made headlines when he hosted French President Emmanuel Macron for meetings at the White House.

White House linked the cause to “shaking hands all day, every day.”

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt explained in a statement, “President Trump has bruises on his hand because he’s constantly working and shaking hands all day, every day.” She also added that the president takes the aspirin as part of “a standard cardiovascular prevention…”

The POTUS and his team have firmly rejected such claims. In October last year, his doctor said that the president “remains in exceptional health” after a “comprehensive” medical checkup at Walter Reed National Military Medical Centre.
