Christmas is almost here and ‘tis the season to be jolly!
Christmas is no longer just a religious holiday, commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ, but a hugely popular cultural one celebrated by people across the globe. Each year on December 25, people gather with families, exchange gifts and cards and decorate Christmas trees.
In fact, for roughly two millennia, people around the world have been observing it with traditions and practices that are both religious and secular in nature.
