Yesterday, captain Rohit Sharma and boys enjoyed a convincing over New Zealand in the semi-final, which was held at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. Apart from the legends of the sports fraternity, the match was also attended by celebs like Rajinikanth, Ranbir Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani, Vicky Kaushal, Kunal Kemmu and others.

While fans are still rejoicing this historic moment, Big and SRK praised the team for their brilliant efforts. While Shah Rukh Khan wrote on his social media account, "Yay boys!!! What a display of team spirit and play. Unto winning the finals now. All the best….India !!!" Amitabh Bachchan tweeted, "when i don't watch we WIN !"

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up for the release of Dunki. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film also features Boman Irani, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Vikram Kochhar, Anil Grover, and starring alongside Shah Rukh Khan. A Jio Studios, Red Chillies Entertainment and Rajkumar Hirani Films presentation, produced by Rajkumar Hirani and Gauri Khan. Written by Abhijat Joshi, Rajkumar Hirani and Kanika Dhillon, Dunki is slated to release this December 2023. The film will lock horns with Prabhas, Shruti Haasan and Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer Salaar at the box office. It is directed by Prashanth Neel.

On the other hand, Amitabh Bachchan will be next seen in Prabhas starrer Kalki 2898 AD.
