It is only when you turn the volume back on that you realise they are saying the most outrageous and hilarious things. That's what makes films like these so difficult to pull off."

He further added, "I chose this style of humour because it reflects who I am as a filmmaker. I have never been drawn to over-the-top comedy, and the same goes for heavily dramatised scenes. I prefer humour that feels natural and grounded, where the situations and performances speak for themselves. That is exactly what drew me to this film."
