Cinema icon Amitabh Bachchan offered prayers at Ram Temple here on Friday.The senior actor reached Ayodhya airport in the afternoon by a chartered flight and then travelled to Ram temple for darshan and aarti. He spent about half an hour inside the temple premises and also had a glimpse of the temple building from outside.After attending the special prayer service at the Ram temple, Bachchan reached the official residence of Ayodhya commissioner in Faizabad city for lunch.Bachchan has purchased land in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. As per the report by Hindustan Times, the land is over 1,000 sqft. and is located 15 minutes away from the temple, which is going to be inaugurated later this month. It has costed the star over Rs 14.5 crore.“I am looking forward to embark on this journey with The House of Abhinandan Lodha for The Sarayu in Ayodhya, a city that holds a special place in my heart. The timeless spirituality and cultural richness of Ayodhya have forged an emotional connection that transcends geographical boundaries,” Bachchan said at an event recently.Kangana Ranaut visited Ram Mandir in Ayodhya for the Darshan of Ram Janmabhoomi. The actress sought the blessing of the Lord Ram for the release of Tejas.
