Virat Kohli-Anushka Sharma name their newborn son Akaay. Here's what it means

On 20th February (yesterday), Virat Kohli shared the news that he and wife Anushka were blessed with a baby on 15th February and named him Akaay. As soon as this news surfaced on the internet, we saw netizens searching for the meaning of this unique name on Google.

What is the meaning of Akaay?

Well, as per several reports, Akaay is a Hindi word with a Turkish origin. In Sanskrit, it means anything which is without kaay meaning form or body. It is derived from the word Kaaya meaning body.

The cricket legend and actress shared a joint note to announce the arrival of their second child and wrote,  "With abundant happiness and our hearts full of love, we are pleased to inform everyone that on 15th February, we welcomed our baby boy Akaay, Vamika's little brother into this world! We seek your blessings and good wishes in this beautiful time in our lives. We request you to kindly respect our privacy at this time. Love and gratitude, Virat & Anushka.”

In an interview with Wrogn, Virat Kohli opened up about his relationship with Anushka Sharma and said that he learned many the valuable lessons from her. The India great went on to add that how their relationship journey was all organic and spontaneous. Speaking on their continuous effort into self-improvement, he said, “The personalities and the identities are subsiding very quickly and that is an amazing process.”
