'Uttaran' actress Rashami Desai slams Ranveer Singh-Johnny Sins' viral ad, says it's a 'slap for the TV industry'
The actress further noted how TV actors who want to work on the big screen get treated like. "I'm sorry but such things are not shown on TV shows."

Ranveer Singh recently left his fans surprised and taken aback after he was featured in an ad alongside adult star Johnny Sins. In a bid to promote his sexual wellness brand Bold Care, the Bollywood actor clearly made a daring move, drawing a lot of attention on the internet. While a large section of fans were seen going ROFL over the Bollywood actor teaming up with an adult star, some also pointed out how they, in their wildest imagination, had never thought of watching this, calling it the 'biggest crossover' ever. While advertisements promoting sexual wellness among men generally aim to normalise the conversation regarding the same, this one by Bold Care featuring Ranveer Singh and Johnny Sins went a little over-the-top by including a hilarious parody of a typical Indian daily soap with unmissable scenes and melodramatic music. At a time when Ranveer Singh has received a positive response for his bold stance and even for the humourous tone of the ad, some seem to be quite unsatisfied with the same.Joining in the line is television actress Rashami Desai who seems unimpressed by the ad as she was seen criticising the same with some harsh words. Taking to her Instagram story, Rashami while sharing the reel of the advertisement called it "the most unexpected collab ever to exist."Rashami Desai tears into Ranveer Singh-Johnny Sins adBy mentioning that she started her work in the regional film industry and then in the television industry, Rashami added, "People called it the small screen, where normal people watch cricket, Bollywood films, and much more. However, after watching this reel, aaya which is usually highly unexpected, I feel it's a humiliation to the TV industry and people who work in television. Coz we always made feel smaller and treated like one."The actress further noted how TV actors who want to work on the big screen get treated like. "I'm sorry but such things are not shown on TV shows. This happens on the big screen. There's nothing wrong in showing some reality but this is a reality check for the TV industry, cause I feel it's a slap. Maybe I am overreacting but we have shown culture and love to our audience. I am hurt cause I have a respectful journey in the TV industry. Hope you will all understand the emotion," Desai concluded.Celebs react to Ranveer Singh's viral adMany other Bollywood celebrities and TV actors also reacted to the viral ad, however, majorly hailing Ranveer Singh for the collaboration. While Arjun Kapoor wrote, "Baba, you are bold and beautiful for doing this," popular YouTuber Tanmay Bhat wrote, "So good to see one of my all-time favourite sexual icons... and also Johnny Sins."Priyanka Chopra, Zoya Akhtar, Nakuul Mehta, and Karan Kundrra among others also reacted to his Instagram post, hailing the funny depiction of the brand.
