The film is entertaining, and sometimes it's okay to not have layers in characters. So, when you watch the film, be in a relaxed and undemanding mood.

The film leaves you laughing until your tummy hurts and intrigued until the very end. Movies like The Great Grand Superhero are the kind of films that are the need of the hour. It's absolutely okay to be a little silly. It looks like movies with limited buzz have got a good story to tell, and it's time we must stop obsessing about stars and appreciate cinema.

There is an inner meaning to make us believe that the powers of a superhero exist in all of us. We just need to look deep within ourselves. At the center of all the madness is Jackie Shroff who effortlessly brings charm, humour, mystery, and warmth to a character that leaves everyone guessing. Is he really a superhero? Or is it simply a child’s unstoppable imagination turning his grandfather into the greatest hero on Earth?

The film starts with kids and youngsters gathering together, telling their stories. Storytelling is an art, and I remember as kids we used to have storytelling competitions, but how come we don't talk about these at all these days? And then comes in this humorous, yet mysterious, story of the granddad 'superhero' played by Jackie Shroff. The aliens play a very important role in the film. The performances of each and every kid in the movie are brilliant, and they all deserve appreciation. Jackie Shroff is fun to watch as he plays the role of an adorable grandpa every grandchild desires to have.

Directed by Manish Saini, The Great Grand Superhero – Aliens Ka Aagman starts with a young boy Dipu (Mihir Godbole), who like a typical kid keeps changing schools from one city to another because of his father’s transferable job. And every time he shifts school it becomes a task for him to make new friends. In his effort to make new friends, he makes up a story of his grandfather (Jackie Shroff) being a superhero who can stop an alien invasion which will happen soon. On the whole, the movie is a delightful watch and the performances of each of the actors, especially the young craftsmen are absolutely charming!
