Tara Sutaria on facing competition from Suhana Khan and Khushi Kapoor: 'The movies they are doing...'
The 'Apurva' actress spoke about Shah Rukh Khan's daughter and Sridevi's daughter and how she thinks it's not too crowded in the industry right now

Tara Sutaria, who was recently seen in Disney Plus Hotstar's Apurva, spoke about facing competition from Suhana Khan and Khushi Kapoor in a recent interview with Hindustan Times. She spoke about Shah Rukh Khan's daughter and Sridevi's daughter and how she thinks it's not too crowded in the industry right now.
She was quoted saying, "I don't look at it as a competition at all. I did my first film with Ananya Panday who was launched at the same time. I have grown up with a twin sister. What people call competition is not competition for me at all. To be honest with you, I don't think what anybody is doing in the industry, someone else is also doing. What young actor is very different from any other."
She added, "The movies they are doing are very different from each other. I don't think it’s too crowded in the industry right now or anything. I cannot say it for everyone, but at least for my journey so far that weird sense of competition between me and anyone is not there."
Tara Sutaria on Apurva
In an exclusive interview with Firstpost, talking about the film, the actress said, "Apurva is a very ordinary girl. She’s a girl-next-door who’s on her way to meet her fiancée. It’s the story about what can suddenly happen in her life at the drop of a hat and her whole world is shaken. That’s what excited me on a basic level that I could play someone very normal and simple, just like anyone. This is also about how she tries to overcome the scariest moment and how she uses her wit and intelligence.'
She added, "There’s a certain sense of heightened sensitivity that comes into play with women, and which Apurva has shown in the film, and I hope people feel inspired and courage when they see the film and realise there’s an Apurva in all of us."
