Smriti Irani opposes paid period leaves for women employees, Kangana Ranaut says 'Periods is not a handicap'

The Union Women and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani recently opposed paid period leaves for women employees, stating it's part of the menstrual cycle and not a handicap.Irani said, "As a menstruating woman, I can say menstruation and our menstrual cycle is not a handicap, it's a natural part of a woman's life journey. It will be good if it is a mix of arranged and love marriage.”On her past relationshipsYou won’t always get success in relationships. And you will be lucky if you don’t get that success at a young age and that happened to me. I was so determined to make that thing work that if it would have continued, I have would have given all my years to it. Luckily that relationship didn’t work for me at that time. I think God protected me, but this perspective comes very late in life.
