Russian Doll trailer: Netflix comedy series sees Natasha Lyonne relive her death in an infinite loop
Netflix's Russian Doll shows Natasha Lyonne in the role of Nadia, a New York city woman who just can't seem to escape the endless loop of going to a party, getting killed and then coming back to life to experience it all over again.

Netflix released the first trailer for its upcoming comedy series Russian Doll, starring Natasha Lyonne. The trailer shows Lyonne in the role of Nadia, a New York city woman who just can't seem to escape the endless loop of going to a party, getting killed and then coming back to life to experience it all over again. The first trailer of this series has a fun spin to it, with the footage replaying itself as soon as Nadia gets killed. The thing is there is no murder mystery involved here. Instead, Nadia dies falling of the fire escape, getting hit by a car or falling into a pothole. Each death brings Nadia back to the evening’s beginning in typical Groundhog Day-fashion.Nadia's friends and family are having a hard time figuring her out, her mother even suggesting enrolling her in a psych ward. So that is the question lying in Russian Doll, is Nadia crazy or is she really living her life on repeat mode?In addition to Natasha Lyonne in the lead, the cast includes Greta Lee, Yul Vazquez, Elizabeth Ashley and Charlie Bennett. Lyonne co-created the show with Amy Poehler and Leslye Headland who also serve as executive producers. The series releases on 1 February.Watch the trailer here:
