Rohit Shetty’s most anticipated film Singham Again has been making enough noise ever since its announcement. The stellar cast of the film including Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar, and Kareena Kapoor along with many other stalwarts is what has generated enough hype for the film among the fans. To keep the excitement of the fans intact, Rohit Shetty has now dropped another update as another actor has come on board to play the antagonist in the film. Through his Instagram post, Shetty confirmed that Arjun Kapoor is playing the villain in Singham 3 aka Singham Again.Earlier last year, rumours circulated that Arjun Kapoor was in talks to play the antagonist in the big-budget multistarrer film, Singham 3. Confirming the rumours, Rohit Shetty took to Instagram, making the big announcement. The filmmaker even shared two intense photos of the actor in his mean avatar, one of which shows the actor with blood on his face and hands. The actor, in the picture, can be seen smiling viciously and looks terrifying. Meanwhile, another picture displayed Arjun with Ranveer Singh who will be reprising his role as Simmba in the film.The announcement made by the director has resulted in huge excitement among fans which is visible through the reactions they shared on social media. One of the fans expressed, “It will be interesting to watch Arjun Kapoor against all the cops,” whereas another commented on the pictures, “Giving me major goosebumps…” “Now that’s the reunion I’ve been waiting for,” read another.As per the reports, Singham Again will make it to theatres on Independence Day, August 15, 2024. It needs to be noted that Singham 3 will mark the reunion of Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh who were seen together in the film Gunday. For the unversed, Singham 3 aka Singham Again will feature Ajay Devgn reprising his role of Singham, along with Akshay Kumar who will be playing Veer “Soorya” Sooryavanshi. The film will mark Ranveer Singh’s return as Simmba. Interestingly, Deepika Padukone will be introduced in the film as the first lady Singham of the cop universe whereas Tiger Shroff will also be seen essaying a pivotal character in the film.
