Richa Chadha reveals her mom confused Ali Fazal with THIS Pakistani actor

Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal are one of the most adored couples in Bollywood. While the duo tied the knot recently, they have been shelling couple goals for a long time. Recently, the Masaan actress revealed how her mother reacted when she first told her about Ali Fazal. During a recent conversation with the All About Eve India podcast, Richa Chadha revealed that when she first informed her mother about her relationship with Ali Fazal in the early days, her mother confused Ali Fazal with Ali Zafar. She looked up the wrong person online and thought he was married with two children. Richa Chadha was quoted saying, “My mom called me very alarmed and said, ‘I don’t know if you know that he is married and he has two kids’. I was like ‘What?!’ She’s like ‘Yeah, he is from Lahore, he is married and he has two kids’. I said ‘No, it’s not that guy’.”

Richa Chadha added that she cleared it up with her mother that Ali's character in Fukrey is named Zafar, but his real name is Ali Fazal and there happens to be a Pakistani actor, Ali Zafar who has been a part of famous Bollywood projects like Dear Zindagi and Mere Brother Ki Dulhan.

However, Ali Fazal appeared only in a cameo role. Made under the direction of Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, the venture reached the cinema halls on September 28 this year.
