Parineeti Chopra-Raghav Chadha's Delhi reception cancelled? Couple likely to host one in Mumbai

Bollywood diva Parineeti Chopra and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Raghav Chadha's wedding was a grand affair. The lovebirds finally exchanged vows on 24 September at The Leela Palace in Udaipur. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, cricketer-turned-politician Harbhajan Singh and Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray graced the occasion from the groom's side. On the other hand, it was fashion designer Manish Malhotra and tennis star Sania Mirza who attended the event from Parineeti's side.Earlier, reports suggested that Parineeti and Raghav will host wedding receptions in Chandigarh and Delhi for the political fraternity. They were also reportedly supposed to host a party in Mumbai for the bride's friends from the film industry. However, now, it seems like there has been a change in plan.According to a report by News18, the receptions in Delhi and Chandigarh have been called off. The couple, however, sticks to their Mumbai plan and a grand bash will be thrown on October 4. "The parties in Chandigarh and Delhi stand cancelled as of now. Parineeti (Chopra) and Raghav (Chadha) will now host their friends in Mumbai. The party is set to take place on 4 October," the news portal quoted a well-placed source as saying.Bollywood's who's who are expected to attend Parineeti and Raghav's wedding reception. "Parineeti wanted her closest friends and relatives only to be a part of her nuptials in Udaipur. It was pre-decided by the couple to invite the rest of their peers and friends to be a part of their engagement," the source added.Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha's pre-wedding festivities kicked off in Delhi with an Ardaas ceremony and a Sufi night later that evening. The couple then arrived in Udaipur where Parineeti’s Choora and Mehndi ceremonies took place on 23 September. A Sangeet event was also held on the same day followed by the wedding on 24 September.Post wedding, the pair took to social media to share a set of dreamy pictures from their D-day. They noted, "From the very first chat at the breakfast table, our hearts knew. Been waiting for this day for a long time. So blessed to finally be Mr and Mrs! Couldn’t have lived without each other.
