After Ranbir Kapoor, yet another Kapoor lad is all set to make his Bollywood debut, albeit he doesn't have the Kapoor surname. Grandson of showman Raj Kapoor and son of Reema Jain — Armaan Jain will be debuting in upcoming film Lekar Hum Deewana Dil, the trailer of which was launched recently.

Lekar Hum Deewana Dil also marks the debut of Imtiaz Ali's brother Arif as a director and if the trailer is any indication there is a whiff of Imtiaz Ali's brand of silver screen romance in this film. Like most of Imtiaz's films where the protagonists are runaways, in this film too we will see the protagonists elope.

The trailer tells us that two bratty kids — Dinesh Nigam aka Dino (Armaan Jain) and Karishma Shetty ( Deeksha Seth) are best friends and after one drunken episode they decide to get married and elope in order to get away from their conservative families.

The film follows the journey of Dinesh and Karishma away from their parents and towards each other as their friendship matures into love. While the two share many happy and fun moments it seems due to some turn of events, they come back and file for divorce. Now, whether they do end up getting divorced or plan to stay together is what the film will reveal.

The trailer indicates that the film is upbeat, light-hearted and fun, however, with the best-friends-falling-in-love cliche let's hope the director brings some freshness to the story. AR Rahman is the music director of the film. The film is being produced by Armaan Jain's brother-in-law and actor Saif Ali Khan along with Dinesh Vijan and Sunil Lulla. The film is slated for a 4 July release.
