Kaun Banega Crorepati 15: Amitabh Bachchan gets emotional as he bids goodbye to the show, says 'For the last time...'
On the grand finale of season 15, the host and megastar said to the viewers- "To the loved ones, neither we like to say it that we'll not be coming from tomorrow, nor we want to say something like this."

Amitabh Bachchan has been hosting the iconic and game-changing game show Kaun Banega Crorepati for the last 23 years, season three being an exception. It has now reached its 15th season and on the grand finale episode of the same, Bacchhan turned emotional while bidding adieu to fans and viewers.
In a video shared by Sony Channel, Bachchan said, "To the loved ones, neither we like to say it that we'll not be coming from tomorrow, nor we want to say something like this. I, Amitabh Bachchan, from this very stage for the last time going to say, Goodnight, goodnight, goodnight."
As megastar Amitabh Bachchan turned 81, the makers of Kaun Banega Crorepati kept a surprise for the host and the star. They celebrated the special occasion with the entire team and also in store was a surprise that left him emotional. There were special birthday wishes from Boman Irani, Vidya Balan, and Vicky Kaushal.
Seeing the wishes, Bachchan turned teary eyed and said, “How much more will you make me cry? I used to give everyone tissue, now I need one. My birthdays celebrated on this platform are the best.”
Also, on the recent episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 15, Shefali Shah told Amitabh Bachchan how she wanted a girl child after a boy.
Shefali shared, “When a baby is born, it is a very happy moment. It is for me also, specially a girl. I have two boys. First time, it was ok. He was my first born, very excited. During the second delivery, when he was born, doctor said, ‘kitna khubsurat beta hai’. I said, ‘dobara check kar lo shayad beti ho.’ There are so many people, who want a girl. Even in this day and age at some places, babies are abandoned and specially if it’s a girl.”
