Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan is all set to set the screen on fire with her upcoming film 'Crew'. The actress will be seen stepping into the role of an air hostess, with the latest teaser also taking excitement among fans to the next level. Kareena will be seen sharing the screen with actresses like Tabu and Kriti Sanon. At a time when a lot of female-centric films are being made, with Crew being the latest one, Kareena was seen heaping praise on fellow actresses like Deepika Padukone, Vidya Balan, and Kangana Ranaut for improving women's positions in the industry.

Speaking at an ABP event recently, the Jaane Jaan actress was seen discussing how women actresses have evolved in the Hindi film industry, adding that many have set an example for others out there.

'A lot of women have done strong parts'

Kareena, when asked about whether female actresses are treated differently, said that things have changed due to many people.

"No, I think it has changed because I think a lot of strong women have done a lot of strong parts. They have done films that have been loved by audiences, by the masses, by film people, critics, and at the box office. The lead actresses like Kangana Ranaut and Vidya, like Deepika or myself, I think, have always tried to stand for roles that have risen above just being, you know, they're in the film," she said.

Further, Kareena also emphasised the fact that actresses demanding certain roles, certain fees, and a certain position have brought about changes.

A new teaser of the much-awaited film 'Crew' was recently unveiled, featuring the lead actresses, Kareena Kapoor, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon. Giving a better glimpse of what the film will be all about, it shows the leading ladies showing off their 'badass' side, stealing peanut boxes, beating up unruly passengers, and planning to earn money.

Besides them, the teaser also shows Kapil Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh. "Kursi ki peti baandh lein, kyuki yahan ka taapmaan aapke liye bahot garm hone vala hai," Kareena wrote on Instagram.
