Amitabh Bachchan’s daughter Shweta Bachchan turned 50 on March 17. And on this special occasion, filmmaker and friend Karan Johar had something to share.

He wrote- “ My best childhood memories have been with @shwetabachchan and @bachchan …. AB Junior tied us to a tree in Madh Island ( as a prank) and that began a lifelong journey of family , love and friendship…. My mother has always said that Shweta is the daughter she never had and she will always be the sister I so needed …. I love you Shweta …."

Amitabh Bachchan has gifted his Mumbai abode Prateeksha to his daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda, which reportedly costs around Rs 50 crore. As per a report by Money Control, a gift deed was signed on November 8, and Rs 50.65 lakh was paid as stamp duty.

The Sholay star owns three bungalows in the Juhu area of Mumbai- Jalsa, Janak, and Prateeksha, with the latter being his first house where he stayed with his parents.
