There is something entirely engaging about actors who steal the show as underdog characters as the heart of the plot. And Bollywood has gifted us with actors who’ve established themselves as scene-stealers and their performances which the audiences couldn’t stop talking about.

Jim Sarbh - Made In India- A Titan Story

The first time when we meet the imperturbable Desai, played by Jim Sarbh, he gives a company’s retinue some delightful ideas on how to continue their protests. He declares in incorrect Hindi he’s not supposed to be taking sides since he’s a project manager. The saccharine simplicity of the performance and the sugarcoated background music are supposed to make us feel for the story and the man to whom it belongs. Despite the apparent telling, some portions are a genuine delight.

Abhishek Banerjee - Stree

Stree franchise seems strongly incomplete without the unforgettable, Jana, played by Abhishek Banerjee. The actor stepped into its shoes with flamboyancy, quirk and innocence so real that it connected with the audience each time he was on-screen. His friendship, protectiveness, or the time he gets possessed, Banerjee brings a unique display of versatility in each frame.

Jaideep Ahlawat - Gangs of Wasseypur

Jaideep Ahlawat delivered a breakout performance in the cult classic, Gangs of Wasseypur. As Shahid Khan, the patriarch of the Khan family, Ahlawat brought a sense of maturity and rugged shade that made Shahid Khan more believable, becoming the catalyst for starting the multi-generational blood feud!

Aparshakti Khurana Dhoka: Round D Corner

Aparshakti Khurana surprised audiences with one of his most intense performances in Dhokha: Round D Corner. Stepping away from his usual comic roles, he portrayed Haq Riyaz Gul, a complex and unpredictable character that added layers of suspense to the film. His powerful screen presence, convincing Kashmiri accent, and ability to balance vulnerability with menace made the role stand out.

Danish Pandor - Dhurandhar & Dhurandhar The Revenge

Danish Pandor served a scene-stealing performance in the magnum opus Dhurandhar & Dhurandhar The Revenge. His character Uzair Baloch became a social media sensation for all the right reasons, such that the audience still remember him as the ‘footballer’ Uzair Baloch!
