I'll not be returning for Man Of Steel sequel: Russell Crowe

London: Actor Russell Crowe will not be reprising his role as Superman's father in the Man Of Steel sequel.The Noah star, who played Jor-El in the 2013 film, was killed off by Michael Shannon's character General Zod but later appeared as a hologram, guiding Superman to defeat his nemesis.[caption id="attachment_1464183" align="alignleft" width="380"] Reuters[/caption]However, Crowe believes his time as Jor-El - a role previously played on the big screen by Marlon Brando - will not be back for the sequel, because of the new direction the film is taking, reported Contactmusic."I don't think they're going to use me again.
