Hybe India brings global auditions and immersive K-pop fan experience to Mumbai
HYBE INDIA hosted its Mumbai auditions and fan-focused Pop-Up Park, offering aspiring performers a chance to enter its global music training ecosystem.

HYBE INDIA brought its much-anticipated in-person audition tour to Mumbai this weekend, giving aspiring performers a rare opportunity to enter the company’s global music training and production ecosystem.
The auditions were held on May 10 at JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu, where participants attended after pre-booking their slots through BookMyShow.
The initiative is part of HYBE INDIA’s larger global talent search aimed at discovering emerging musical talent from India and the Indian diaspora.
Online auditions continue till July
For aspirants unable to attend the Mumbai auditions physically, HYBE INDIA has also opened online auditions running from March 31 to July 31.
The audition programme is open to female participants born between 2005 and 2011, with categories including singing, dancing and rap. Selected candidates will be evaluated by HYBE’s global experts as part of the company’s international talent development pipeline.
Further details regarding eligibility and participation are available through HYBE INDIA and its official social media platforms.
HYBE INDIA Pop-Up Park draws huge crowds in Mumbai
Alongside the auditions, HYBE INDIA also hosted its Pop-Up Park on May 9 and 10 at Inorbit Mall.
The event transformed the mall into an immersive K-pop-inspired fan destination packed with live music, interactive experiences and community activities.
Artists including Kayan, Outstation and Shria Rao performed live sets during the two-day event, while fans participated in K-pop DJ sessions, K-Quiz contests and Random Play Dance activities powered by Dance Planet from South Korea.
First-ever Weverse Fan Letter Zones in India
One of the biggest highlights of the event was the introduction of Weverse Fan Letter Zones for HYBE artists — a first-of-its-kind experience in India.
The pop-up also featured multiple interactive zones developed with partner brands including H&M, Kia India, Nongshim, Samsung India and Shoppers Stop.
Fans could also explore themed food zones, noodle bars, glitter and make-up stations, exclusive merchandise sections, giveaways and dedicated photo booths designed for social media moments.
Aspirants get direct access to casting experts
A major attraction for aspiring performers was the on-site audition booth, where attendees got the chance to interact directly with casting directors working with HYBE INDIA.
The experts reportedly offered personalised guidance, professional advice and insights into the audition process, helping participants better understand what global entertainment companies look for in trainees.
With Mumbai witnessing a strong turnout from K-pop fans and aspiring performers alike, the HYBE INDIA Pop-Up Park emerged as both a celebration of fandom culture and a major step in the company’s India expansion plans.
