'House of Bollywood' to open in Moscow and across BRICS+ Nations as BCMF unveils vision for a new cultural world order

In a defining moment for cultural diplomacy and global cooperation, the BRICS Culture Media Forum (BCMF), through the BRICS International Investment Forum 2026 (BIIF 2026), unveiled its ambitious international initiative — “The International House of Bollywood” — set to be launched in Moscow, Russia, and gradually expanded across BRICS Plus countries.

Hosted at Le Méridien New Delhi, the forum gathered policymakers, diplomats, industrialists, media leaders, artists, and cultural ambassadors under the central theme:

BCMF Announces The International House of Bollywood

One of the major highlights of BIIF 2026 was the announcement of The International House of Bollywood, a BCMF-backed global platform envisioned to promote cinema, culture, creative collaboration, and artistic exchange among BRICS Plus nations and beyond.

The initiative will first open in Moscow, Russia, before expanding into multiple BRICS+ countries as a cultural bridge connecting filmmakers, musicians, creators, investors, and institutions from East and West.

Speaking at the forum, Dr. Jaan Nissar Lone described the project as:

A cultural home for global storytelling where nations unite through cinema, music, creativity, and humanity.”

The initiative is expected to create opportunities for international co-productions, creative investments, film festivals, artist exchange programs, and cross-border collaborations while positioning India’s entertainment industry at the center of a new multipolar cultural movement.

A New Economic Narrative:  Love-Led Economics

Breaking away from traditional economic frameworks focused solely on GDP and trade margins, BCMF introduced a philosophy rooted in emotional intelligence, ethics, and social harmony.

Opening the forum, Dr. Jaan Nissar Lone delivered a defining message:

Invest in love, and peace will follow. True investment is not in currency, but in the human spirit—because that yields a shared future.”

This emerging philosophy — now widely referred to as “Love-Led Economics” — positions emotional and cultural capital as essential components of sustainable global growth.

India at the Centre of a Civilizational Dialogue

The forum reinforced India’s growing role as a bridge between civilizations, aligning economic ambition with spiritual and ethical wisdom.

Meenakshi Lekhi emphasized the need to move beyond theoretical frameworks and focus on practical transformation:

Dr. Rajiv Kumar highlighted that future economies must prioritize innovation that serves humanity rather than profit alone.

With BRICS representing nearly 40% of the world’s population and approximately 39% of global GDP, the forum emphasized the bloc’s increasing influence in shaping a multipolar global order.

Dr. Mukesh Tyagi underscored India’s leadership under Narendra Modi while advocating stronger investments in the orange economy — culture, media, entertainment, and creative industries.
